Product Description:

Epifanes PP Varnish Extra (PPX.2000) is a two-component varnish based on advanced alkyd resin/isocyanate technology to achieve fast drying, quick re-coating and high-buildup. It offers excellent impact, abrasion and chemical resistance.

PP Varnish Extra has a re-coat time as short as 2.5 hours making it ideal for situations where a fast high-build is required.

Use on all types of interior and exterior woods as an insulation base coat, sealer or filling coat for one-component or two-component synthetic or polyester-based varnish systems.

PP Varnish Extra is an excellent insulating sealer for oily, greasy and vaporous woods such as Teak and Iroco.

Alone, PP Varnish Extra offers a very high interior gloss retention. For maximum UV resistance in exterior applications, it is recommended to topcoat with two or more coats of Epifanes Clear Gloss Varnish, Epifanes Woodfinish Gloss or Epifanes Polyurethane Clear Gloss. Reduce only with Epifanes Thinner for PP Varnish Extra.
