Product Description

Epifanes Paint Accelerator 500ml (APV.500) is a resin-based additive formulated to speed up the curing process of most Epifanes one-part traditional paints, half-synthetic paints, and varnishes. It allows faster recoat times without compromising flexibility, gloss, or long-term durability.

For general exterior and interior use, add 5–7% by volume to the coating. This accelerates cure time while maintaining the coating’s performance characteristics.

For interior applications—such as chairs, tables, and other furniture—Epifanes Paint Accelerator may be added up to 50% to Epifanes Clear Gloss Varnish to produce a harder, more scratch-resistant finish.

Available in 500ml size.

Compatibility

Epifanes Accelerator is compatible at 5-7% by volume to accelerate dry time with the following Epifanes products: 

• Clear High Gloss Varnish with Extra UV Filter 
• Woodfinish Gloss, Woodfinish Matte
• Rubbed Effect 
• Rapid Coat, Rapid Clear, Rapid Clear Matte
• Yacht Enamel
• Eggshell Enamel

Epifanes Accelerator is compatible at 50% by volume for interior wood applications requiring a harder finish with the following Epifanes product:

• Clear High Gloss Varnish with Extra UV Filter

Epifanes Accelerator is not compatible in any amount with the following products:

• Epifanes Monourethane 
• Epifanes Nautiforte
• Epifanes Polyurethane
• Any 2-part coating system
