Surf-ACE P-12 Xtra Heavy Cut Compound, 250ml (713250) is the perfect solution for automotive, marine, aircraft, industrial, solid surface and furniture applications. The new smaller 250ml package size is convenient for off-site travel and smaller projects.

Surf-ACE P-12 Xtra features unique DRA™ (Dynamic Response Abrasion) technology incorporating concentrated micro-precision oxides quickly and easily removes paintwork and gelcoat imperfections, random deep scratches, and heavy oxidation in the shortest possible time to enable the end user to deliver a unique depth of gloss and mirror like finish. 

Recommended especially for harder clear coats, P-12 XTRA benefits from an enhanced lubrication system which can be worked for prolonged periods without drying out. 

P-12 is a professional product that works extremely fast to achieve unparalleled results in the shortest time possible. It is non-cosmetic, containing no fillers to hide scratches or imperfections that can show up later. The water-based formula guarantees minimal dieback / hazing on dark colors and offers quick and easy clean-up after application.

Paint shop approved, P-12 is ammonia and silicone-free for a paintable finish.

P-12 is designed to work with rotary-type polishers for heavier correction. The buff pad type will dictate how aggressive the compound works.

For swirl-mark / hologram removal on darker colors and gloss enhancement, Surf-ACE P-12 Xtra should be followed with the Surf-ACE P-40 Xtra Ultra-Fine Finishing Glaze with the recommended buff pad.

Directions for Use:

Note 1: Do not over apply or use excessive compound.

Note 2: On soft or sensitive paint, or where heat buildup may be a problem, the addition of water mist to avoid any friction burn, particularly with new pads may assist in the polishing process.  However, avoid unnecessary/excessive water.

Note 3: Once a new pad is activated with water no additional water needs to be used once the pad has been impregnated with product.

Note 4: Machine speed should be approximately 1,500 rpm (free running)

1. Apply P-12 XTRA in small quantities to paint surfaces (use minimum amount to work required area)
2. Work the surface applying medium pressure until the scratches and imperfections are removed
3. Reduce pressure as the mop starts to move freely to allow polishing action to take place
4. After compounding remove any residue and buff surface with clean, soft cloth
5. Repeat steps 1 to 4 if additional scratch removal is required
6. (Optional) For swirl-mark / hologram removal on dark colors and gloss enhancement, follow with the Surf-ACE P-40 Xtra Ultra-Fine Finishing Glaze with the recommended buff pad
