SMS Expert Notes

Evercoat 440 Express™ is a powerful tool for improving the quality and consistency of primer-ready surfaces. Micro-pinholes and stray sand scratches are common causes of rework and finish defects, often only becoming visible after primer or basecoat is applied. By using 440 Express™ as a quick, wipe-on step before priming, technicians can dramatically reduce these issues and achieve a cleaner, more uniform repair surface.

Because 440 Express™ requires no sanding and dries quickly, it integrates smoothly into modern collision repair workflows. When paired with Evercoat premium fillers and putties, it helps shops reduce comebacks, save time, and deliver higher-quality finishes. For best results, apply a thin, even coat, wipe thoroughly, and always follow the recommended dry time before priming.
