Evercoat 440 Express™ Micro-Pinhole Eliminator, 1 Pint (100440) is a fast, professional solution for eliminating micro-pinholes and stray sand scratches that are difficult to detect before primer application. Using Evercoat’s patent-pending 1K high-solids polyester technology, 440 Express™ improves repair quality, reduces rework, and helps technicians achieve a cleaner, more uniform surface in seconds.

Evercoat’s 440 Express will eliminate up to 90% of all re-work caused by micro-pinholes and all it takes is 30 seconds to a better repair. This wipe-on product requires no sanding, dries quickly, and will not shrink—preventing micro-pinholes from telegraphing through the paint after the vehicle has been refinished.

For best results, use with Evercoat 440 Express Micro-Pinhole Applicators (100439), sold separately.

How to Use (Standard Operating Procedure)

Step 1 – Final Sanding: Finish the dent repair process by sanding the area with 180-grit or finer sandpaper. Remove dust with clean compressed air.
Step 2 – Shake & Apply: Shake 440 Express™ thoroughly. Apply a small amount to the applicator sponge or directly to the repair area. Multiple applications may be necessary on larger repairs.
Step 3 – Wipe & Reveal: Wipe 440 Express™ over the entire repair area. Continue wiping until all visible residue has been removed. The repair area should remain visible through the light coat, making micro-pinholes and stray sand scratches easy to identify.
Step 4 – Dry & Prime: Allow to dry for approximately 15 minutes, then apply primer surfacer according to the paint manufacturer’s recommendations.
Excess Build-Up: If excess 440 Express™ builds up on the repair area, allow to dry for 15 minutes, then lightly sand using 400–500 grit sandpaper prior to applying primer.
Compatibility Note: 440 Express™ is only approved for use over cured and sanded Evercoat 2K dent repair products that can be primed directly over. It is not recommended for fixing pinholes in conventional body fillers; Evercoat recommends Metal Glaze® (#416) for that application.
