Product Overview

Fusor® T23 Truck Plastic Bonding Adhesive, Medium, 210ml (3029862) is a two-component, urethane-based structural adhesive engineered for bonding large truck and commercial vehicle body panels. It delivers high strength, excellent durability, and OEM-quality performance for installing hood panels, roof panels, fenders, fender liners, fairings, spoilers, wind deflectors, cab extenders, ground effects, headlamp buckets, and other exterior body components.

The non-sag formula ensures the adhesive stays in place on vertical and overhead surfaces, making application clean and controlled. Fusor T23 is highly resistant to harsh environmental conditions including sunlight, weathering, humidity, and salt spray.

OEM approvals and recommendations include Peterbilt and Kenworth.

Two-component cartridge is for use with the Fusor 502 Dual Cartridge Manual Applicator (sold separately).

Application Overview

Surface Preparation

For metal bonding: prime bare metal with a two-component epoxy primer, allow to dry, then scuff-sand with 180–220 grit.
For plastic bonding: clean with Fusor 703 adhesion prep/cleaner, scuff-sand with 80-grit, and wipe with a clean dry rag.
Do not use tack rags.

Adhesive Application

Dispense and level cartridge before use.
Apply a bead large enough to fill gaps between parts.
Clamp with enough pressure to hold parts in place while allowing slight squeeze-out.
Reposition only by sliding — do not pull parts apart.

Finishing

Unclamp after recommended clamp time.
For smoother cosmetic finish, apply Fusor 114LG over cured adhesive.
Polyester fillers should not be applied directly over T23.
Prime and paint per manufacturer recommendations.
