Mirka DEROS II 550X 5" 5mm Random Orbital Vacuum Ready Electric Sander, Without Case, (MID5504044US) is a powerful and compact direct electric orbital sander makes quick work of tight spaces. The successful Mirka DEROS sander has reached a new generation. The new Mirka DEROS II features a list of improvements to make sanding even easier than before.

The DEROS II 550X has a 5" backup pad and 5mm (3/16") oscillation. The 5mm oscillation is suitable for sanding projects, it is the oscillation most commonly used and achieves a good balance between stock removal and surface finish. The effective DEROS II is a compact and easy-to-use electric sander.

The long-life brushless electric motors of the new Mirka DEROS II models effortlessly get through demanding sanding jobs. Operator comfort continues at a high standard with a low noise level, reducing stress when sanding for longer periods. For monitoring vibration levels, the smart Mirka DEROS II models are compatible with the myMirka® app through Bluetooth® connectivity.

    This MID5504044US does not include a case but one may be added to keep your DEROS safe while transporting and storing. The Mirka MIN6532011 Systainer T-LOC Case is a splash and dust resistant case is a sturdy storage solution that is easy to pack and move to the next work site. The case protects the tool and prolongs its lifetime. The connectable case system keeps tools and equipment organized in one place.

    Mirka DEROS Edge Protector:

    Mirka DEROS Edge Protector for 5” Sanders (8290125111) is a simple accessory that can be attached to the tool to prolong the life of the backup pad and prevents scratching or damaging adjacent surfaces. It protects the edge of the backup pad when sanding corners and edges. It also prevents scratching or damaging adjacent surfaces.
