Buff and Shine 6" Uro-Wool™ Purple 100% Knitted Wool Blend Cutting Grip Buff Pads (6KWP) are designed for cutting correction processes in applications ranging from cars to boats and RVs. 

Uro-Wool™ are extremely versatile, made for use with all polishing tool motions including rotary, gear driven and DA random orbit polishers with 8mm, 15mm and 21mm orbits with 6" size backing plates.

Each pad is sculpted with decades of experience in the industry and is a testament to Buff and Shine's unwavering commitment to excellence. Manufactured in the USA and engineered from the finest wool fibers and fortified with heat-resistant, washable adhesives, these pads deliver exceptional cutting and polishing results.

Easily identifiable purple color, these Uro-Wool™ pads use 100% processed wool that is “knitted” onto the pad, not twisted. The biggest advantage of knitted wool is the lack of lint, no more shedding wool fibers floating around the shop!

The face of the knitted wool pad is soft to the touch and made up of hundreds of individual wool fibers per square inch. The appearance of knitted wool is often compared to that of lambs-wool, although the two are quite different, as lambs-wool tends to have an inconsistent surface.  The knitted wool has a more precision construction, yielding durability and consistency in use.

Uro-Wool™ pads have virtually no interface between the wool fiber pad face and the grip backing material. This allows the power of the polisher and the movement of the technician to transfer more directly and actively to the paint surface, resulting in faster cutting and correction cycles. The knitted wool face takes a stronger “bite” or cut, with superior leveling capability.

Uro-Wool™ pads will not leave pigtails associated with using twisted wool pads on dual-action machines or heavy swirls associated with using twisted wool pads with rotary machines. The Uro-Wool™ pads have a great capability of “finishing down” the paint so that less follow-up polishing is needed. The practiced technician will find that some heavy-cut situations that might have previously taken several steps can now be accomplished in just two steps, starting with Uro-Wool™ pad and finishing up with one of Buff and Shine’s Uro Foam Pads.

These pads are a purple color, feature a grip backing, 6.25" diameter with 0.75" pile height.

These pads are designed to fit 6" size grip backing plates.
