Buff and Shine 5" EdgeGuard™ Foam Grip Buff Pad, Black, Final Finishing (520EG) are designed for random orbital and gear driven polishers and are revolutionizing the detailing industry with advanced technology for perfect centering and backing plate edge protection. Perfect for use on cars, boats, aircraft and RVs.

EdgeGuard pads are made for use with both gear driven and random orbit polishers with 8mm, 15mm and 21mm orbits. These pads fit on 5" size backing plates with an angle to a 6" surface facing side.

The pads feature a breathable, thermally sealed polymer inner pocket and protective foam shield edge, resulting in a durable pad with extended lifespan that allows tear-free removal. Their extended edge profile makes buffing around intricate contours effortless. 

Black EdgeGuard Foam Pad is the softest in the series, designed for ultra-fine finishing and applying protection products. It ensures smooth, even coverage and is the most popular option for final finishing on the most delicate paints, as well as for applying sealants and waxes. Best paired with finishing polishes, glazes, sealants, or waxes when the goal is maximum gloss and flawless application.
