Product Overview:
RUPES BigFoot LHR21 Mark III Random Orbital Polisher (LHR21III/US/STD) with its 21mm orbit and 6″ (150mm) backing plate, the LHR21 Mark III random orbital polisher is the latest generation of RUPES flagship polishing system and is the perfect tool for working large surface areas.
The LHR 21 Mark III allows the operator to achieve ultra high-quality finishes, even with limited passes. Improved efficiency guarantees more power and torque on every surface.
The BigFoot LHR21 Mark III proves once again that RUPES BigFoot is the gold standard by which all professional polishing tools should be judged. The refined chassis and ergonomic enhancements improve upon the original LHR21 Mark III design to provide improved performance and operator experience.
With the ability to remove 1,500 grit sanding marks and leave a high-gloss finish in one step and makes paint polishing fast and easy. The large, overlapping orbital movement eliminates the cause of swirl marks and greatly reduces the chances of damaging edges and tight areas.
Engineered to work in harmony with RUPES D-A 180mm Foam Pads, 170mm Microfiber Pads and 170mm Wool Pads, the LHR21 Mark III is nearly vibration free and incredibly comfortable to use.
This LHR21III/US/STD package includes Bigfoot LHR21 Mark III Polisher and 981.321N 6" (150mm) hard density, M8 connection grip backing plate. Note, buff pads, compound and polish sold separately.
Features and Benefits:
IMPROVED ERGONOMICS | |
The rubberized front grip of the Mark III offers exceptional comfort for the operator while providing a non-slip surface for control. The improved rear handle also integrates rubberized surfaces for improved feel. Two strategically placed, non-marking, tool rests provide stability when the tool is not in use as well as additional protection against unintended impact. The continued refinement of the BigFoot random orbital platform in Mark III reinforces its best-in-class reputation, making the best even better.
IMPROVED BALANCE | |
The perfect balance of the components makes polishing comfortable and vibration free. This ensures an optimum transfer of power to the surface and makes even hard-to-reach areas accessible and guarantees top polishing results. That means that you can work for longer with greater comfort and allows more sensitive control when polishing.
INNOVATIVE DESIGN | |
Attention to detail is something more than just attractive design. Every detail, such as the rubber support positioned on the body of the machine to keep it stable during the non working stages, is the result of meticulous research aimed at achieving maximum operator comfort. |
|
PROGRESSIVE TRIGGER |
|
Adding an additional layer of control is the new progressive trigger. Acting as a throttle to control speeds within the dial range, the progressive trigger allows the operator to make subtle adjustments for precise control without interruption of the process or need to reposition the grip to access the speed dial. The linear delivery of power allows for very fine adjustment within each speed range giving technicians a whole new dimension of control. |
|
TUNED ELECTRONIC SPEED MODULE |
|
The new electronic speed control dial allows for easy adjustment of the top speed of the polisher without requiring the operator to move his hands. The larger dial is easily adjusted with a move of the thumb. High visibility numbers and a more positive feedback from the movement of the dial make speed changes feel more deliberate, allowing operators to select the ideal speed for the task without any interruption to the polishing process. The module has also been tuned to deliver peak torque and speed in the optimal dial ranges. |
|
LONGER CORD |
|
The RUPES Mark III comes standard with a 9 meter (29.6 ft) cord on both the LHR15 and LHR21 models. The longer cord provides users enough length to move more effortlessly around their workshop or studio without the need for additional extension cords or searching for a nearby outlet. |
