The RUPES BigFoot iBrid Mini HSE73 3" × 5" Orbital Battery Sander Starter Kit (HSE73/STB) is a compact, self‑generating vacuum sander designed for professional finishing of wood, composites, paint, plastics, and other surfaces across virtually any industry. Featuring iBrid dual‑power technology, a 2mm (5/64") orbit, and a 3" × 5" (80mm × 130mm) multi‑hole backing pad, the HSE73 delivers exceptional efficiency, dust extraction, and surface quality.

The HSE73’s self‑generating vacuum system eliminates the need for an external dust extractor. Attach the included RUPES Green Tech Filter (80.400/C) for outstanding dust collection and unmatched mobility. For shop environments, the tool may also be connected to a vacuum using the optional 9GAT2001 electric vacuum hose.

This Starter Kit includes the HSE73 sander, two 9HB180LT 18V Li‑Ion batteries, the 9HC180LT charging station, and the Green Tech Filter — providing continuous runtime and a complete cordless sanding solution.

Pair this tool with 3" × 5" dust‑free grip sanding sheets such as RUPES ProCut Film or other multi‑hole or net‑style abrasive strips. The HSE73’s multi‑hole backing pad ensures excellent dust extraction and full compatibility with both RUPES and competitor 3" × 5" grip sanding sheets.

Throttle Lever

Inspired by pneumatic tools, the rubberized variable‑speed lever provides precise control and automatically deactivates the tool if dropped or released.

The 9HB180LT 18V 2.5Ah Li‑Ion batteries deliver 35–45 minutes of runtime per charge. The custom charging station provides a full charge in approximately 35 minutes, ensuring near‑continuous operation.
