Product Overview
sia 1815 siatop 5" (125mm) siafast Grip Disc is engineered for fast, aggressive stock removal and cost‑effective surface treatment on steel and non‑ferrous metals. As part of the 1815 siatop series, this disc delivers a very high removal rate, long lifetime, and a consistent surface finish, making it ideal for heavy sanding and shaping applications.
The closed‑coat zirconia alumina grain allows for aggressive cutting while the resin‑over‑resin bonding allows for durability and heat resistance which results in longer working lifetime for reduced cost and improved productivity.
The 24‑grit version is the most aggressive in the series and features a heavy F-weight backing, designed for paint removal, rust removal, weld preparation, discoloration removal, and heavy stock removal. It is also excellent for fiberglass and resin shaping, where fast cutting and durability are essential.
The siafast grip (hook & loop) backing allows for quick disc changes and secure attachment to 5" hook backup pads.
